It’s game day!! Hopefully OUR Browns will break their 10 year opening day losing streak (really?) and start the season off right with a win over the Jets.
Maybe you live in Northern Virginia and have had trouble finding a seat at RFD Downtown. We urge you to try Paddy Barry’s in Tysons Corner. This is our newest viewing site and has replaced Neighbors in Vienna. If you take the metro, they are on the Silver line. And if you drive, they have a FREE parking garage. Plus, Paddy Barry’s can hold 120 patrons and the ENTIRE bar will be a Browns bar. All TV’s WILL BE tuned to the Browns game. Site Coordinator Dora Tann looks forward to seeing you.
If you live farther out, you can join us at Hard Times Cafe on Sudley Road in Manassas. Browns Backers meet upstairs and site coordinator Neil Angelotti will be there to greet you.
Of course, at RFD Washington we have Rod Baumgardner in charge of the festivities. We have tried our best to provide you with 3 viewing sites that appeal to our diverse membership. I live in Crofton, Maryland, so it takes me 45 minutes to an hour to get to RFD, whether I drive or take the metro. In a perfect world, we could all leave our house at 12:30pm, arrive before kickoff, and have a seat at a table right down in front with a huge wide screen TV and our own personal server. Alas, we don’t live in a perfect world. If you have room at your table, reach out your hand, introduce yourself, and invite someone to sit with you. Remember your Midwestern roots.
Now let’s get fired up and LETS’ GO BROWNS!!!
